How are THC and CBD different?

Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) refers to the primary chemical compound responsible for cannabis’ euphoric effects. THC is one of many cannabinoids, or chemical compounds, produced by the cannabis plant that bind to receptors in the body’s endocannabinoid receptors. A majority of cannabis strains are THC dominant, meaning THC is the most abundant cannabinoid. While the effects of THC are often noticeably altering, CBD works differently.

Where does the color come from? Is it natural?

It’s totally natural! Each recipe includes a beneficial ingredient which also adds color:

  • Hibiscus: Open Heart
  • Turmeric: Sunshine
  • Chaga: Cloud 9
  • Blue Butterfly Pea Vine: Blue Moon

The teas and tinctures are naturally colorful because we use special herbs that were freeze dried with Cellular Fraction-Line Technology within hours of harvest. This process preserves the herbs without any exposure to heat, providing the best possible

quality by encapsulating the beneficial ingredients with minimal alteration. This makes it easier for our bodies to absorb and metabolize the nutrients.

Why is the tincture sweet?

Organic Vegetable Glycerin, the base of most of our tinctures, has a slightly sweet flavor profile. Vegetable Glycerine is derived from sunflower, flaxseed, or coconut oil. It is low glycemic.
